Details: We're looking for a Bilingual Technical Translator for a wireless company in San Diego. Qualified candidates for this role, must be fluent in Korean and English. As the Technical Translator, you will be responsible for both meeting and documentation translation (to include email, letters, database materials, and documents) from Korean/English and English/Korean.The Test Technicians you will support as a Technical Translator requires the testers to develop detailed, complex test plans and OTA for wireless devices. Our Test Engineers use automation as a critical element to ensure the highest level of test coverage. Testing is conducted in both lab and field environments. As a Technical Translator supporting our Test Technicians/Engineers, you would need to understand how to test devices in the North American market, understand the products capabilities and the features unique to the specific customer's supported. Specific responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:Timely translation of materialsTranslation of speakers during meetings.Dictation of email and letters.Translation of English to Korean.Translation of Korean to EnglishInterfacing with team members and external companies from multi-cultural backgrounds and worldwide locations.You must be willing to travel domestically and overseas (potentially).To be qualified for this role, you must have:5+ years Technical Translation experience2+ years experience/knowledge of wireless device lab and field testing2+ years experience/knowledge of wireless network and device developmentExcellent communication skillsB.S. degree in a related field (required)•**Please note, some translation services will be required after 6:00 pm from time to time, and some translation services might be required on weekends as well.
