Details: Build and maintain a strong product engineering organization to support the Commercial Lasers product lines (including solid state, gas and fiber )and the Solar product line. Create and clearly communicate vision to the organization. Set strategic directions for the organization to support the growing business needs. Invigorate team members to set and achieve goals, utilize creative problem-solving to address issues and seek continuous improvements and in turn, allow them to grow and advance. Coordinate internal functional teams and teams at the contract manufacturers to align priorities and streamline processes to meet customer requirements. Oversee end to end product engineering activities. Leads team that assume overall responsibility of product integrity to meet customer requirements.
