Offering dependable high-speed nationwide coverage and all the latest devices and smartphones, we offer everything the national brands do - for less!Senior Tax Manager Responsibilities Responsible for federal, state and local tax compliance and planning; Preparation of financial tax reporting detail work papers and footnote disclosures, in accordance with ASC 740; Maintain federal income and excise tax records; Oversee and provide support for state and local tax function; Establish annual tax accruals, prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts and provide support for tax projections in the annual and long term budget business plan; Research, interpret, apply and explain complex laws, codes, regulations and ordinances; Review and verify accuracy of fixed asset data from a tax reporting standpoint; Make sound judgments within established policies and procedures; Organize own work and assist other staff with setting priorities and meeting critical compliance deadlines; Communicate internally with co-workers, managers and officers from all departments of the company regarding tax treatment of transactions; Communicate externally with local, state and federal governmental authorities in all markets that the company operates in; Manage outside audit requests of state and local authorities and administration of site visits.Minimum Qualifications Degree in related field; 7 - 10 years tax experience with large firm or company. Experience with federal and state tax compliance ASC 740 experience (FAS 109)Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of supervisory experience in a corporate tax department Telecommunications industry experience CPA Masters of Accounting/Tax
