Details: CTS a Central Texas area wireless and RF engineering company is currently seeking experienced system technicians with experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on advanced Project 25 and Microwave System Equipment. Employees will be expected to work in service shop, at remote sites and in customer locations. CTS has fully-equipped test benches outfitted with modern diagnostic test equipment. This position requires that you are able and willing to take 24 hour call on a rotating basis including weekends & holidays. Responsibilities Duties Requirements include:Vehicle installs of public safety equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting of customer equipment, programming and site installations. Ideal applicants should possess the following experience/skills: Bench level test and repair for mobile and portable subscriber units. Must be familiar with all bench level test equipment (Systems Analyzer, Watt Meter, DMM, O-Scope). Experienced in triaging/diagnosing equipment and have the ability to handle bench repairs in-house . Should have good hand eye coordination and dexterity, experienced with de-soldering and soldering board components. Multiple location business requires travel on special project assignments. You must be able to travel occasionally.
