Required Skills: Keyboard and Advanced PC Knowledge required Familiarity with multiple operating systems Familiarity with various software packages including Firewall, Anti-Virus, Pop-up Blocker, and Browsers 1-2 years Customer Service experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations Must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquires Must have strong organization skills Enter information into multiple screens while listening to information from customers Must complete applicable training Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Advanced Degrees or Certification preferred Essential Function of Position: 1. Resolve customer inquiries over the telephone including troubleshooting Cable Modem issues related to connectivity, Browser, Anti-Virus and Spy Ware. 2. Resolve customer issues regarding Cable Telephony product, as well as DSL and Dial-up services 3. Respond to customer correspondence in appropriate manner. 4. Accurately enter resolution of issues, in a call-ticketing database. 5. Promote sales by explaining available services. 6. Use provided training materials and job tools to quickly and accurately resolve customer issues. 7. Other functions that may be assigned.
